1. Approved replacement of ozone-damaging Halon products by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Philippine Environmental Management Bureau (EMB).

2. Included in the list of chemicals as a substitute for Halon products as streaming agents (portable fire extinguishers) submitted under the Significant New Alternative Policy (SNAP) Program.

3. Non-expirable, no need for yearly refilling when not used up.
